  • 1 bell pepper red bell pepper finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with juices
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and starting to crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
