Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream softened for easier blending
  • 1/2 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tbsp sugar syrup optional, for extra sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Add the softened vanilla ice cream, crushed ice, milk, and sugar syrup into the blender.
  2. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high until the mixture is smooth, thick, and fully combined, about 30-40 seconds.
  3. Check the consistency — it should be creamy with a slight icy crunch. If too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly.
  4. Pour the slushie mixture into two chilled glasses, using a spoon to help distribute if needed.
  5. Garnish with a cherry or a sprig of mint if desired, and serve immediately with a straw or spoon.

Notes

For an extra flavor twist, add a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a splash of fruit syrup before blending.
